Awesome! Any idea of how it would perform in big surf?

This is definitely what I expected, a loose SUP board. I really look forward to seeing a board like this ridden in performance conditions. The whole idea of using a paddle, and the buoyancy... if you look closely at this video you will realize that the rider outraces many sections. The variable I was missing is thickness, i.e. buoyancy. SUP surfing is here to stay...and shake the surfing world, it is the equivalent of the new hand-held stick videgame, suddenly an entire new group of users can either re-start surfing or try it anew.

We've had a production 8'6 that is 34" wide x 6" thick for about a year now. It gets lots of second looks.
