Standup riders will do whatever it takes to get to the beach with their board for a paddle. Paul Feddy of East Hampton New York gets there with a little help. A mini cooper

Sweet ride!
here's my board carrier taking the Merrick 10' Fish and a Muņoz 12' to the beach. We usually also fit a 6'3" short board, a kite (or 2) and 2 kiteboards depending on conditions.

I use a 94 Nissan van that works killer for a "SUP-surf-mobile" It has the rack on top that I attached either soft racks or STEEL CORE for longer trips that extra security. But truthfully for around town surf sessions I just flaten the back two seats and let it hang out the window!......its bit "surf getto" but it works great when I am hurry to get in the water, which is MOST of the time!...lol
