The first ever stand up paddleboard club in Australia was recently organized on the beautiful Gold Coast. The organization has named itself Stand Up Paddle Surfers Australia (SUPSA) and has made its home at a fun sand bottom point wave in a place called Currumbin Alley. The organization has been proudly sponsored by Honolua Stoked, which has been a key supporting sponsor in the expansion of stand up paddle surfing.  According to contest director Phil Gregory and club president Guy Walker, each month the club gets together to have a club round or paddle back. Following the 3-Star WQS point system, at the end of the year the leading stand up paddler will be crowned Club Champion Stoked.
