It was nothing but smiles and good times at the 2008 Hennessey's Paddleboard and Stand Up Paddle event at Redondo Beach, CA over the weekend. The conditions were amazing and we couldn't have asked for better weather, overcast and cool in the morning and thoughout the race, then bright and sunny for the after-race party. The seals were there to greet everone at the 4 mile buoy and the dophins were waithing at the finish of the 11 mile race to greet the paddlers as they came in. Both weekend warriors and professional paddlers came together for an awesome event. We captured some shots throughout the day here they are.

    The first shot is a view of the finish line coming up the beach from the water to register your time. The next is the a shot of the seals greeting all the paddlers just after rounding the 4 mile marker. The weather and water conditionsl made the whole thing absolutely surreal.
